Members Directory

My fellow club members seem to be shrinking violets because very few have come forward to be listed here. I'll have to badger them a bit ....

Rab Dingwall

Rab Dingwall

I am 60 something and have kept fish for over 50 years. I have bred a number of types of cichlid, both South American and Rift Lake, Killifish, Barbs and Gouramis, mostly when I had a fish house.
I have also made an attempt at a Dutch style tank which was 5ft x 2ft x 2ft.
I joined the society in 1978 and was Treasurer for over thirty years.
I was also the newsletter editor until Barry took it over and I maintain this website

Mike Shadrack

Mike Shadrack

Mike was our Chairman for many years and is now an Honorary Vice President of the Society. He has kept and bred fish for many years and is a very able and experienced speaker on many aspects of the hobby. He is a keen photographer and an even keener grower of Hostas having an enormous collection of these wonderful foliage plants. He was once very much involved with BASS - no, not the brewers - the British Aquatic Study Society which did much research into Anabantids and Mike is especially knowledgeable on these fish.
Mike now lives in the USA and has sent us a few "letters from America".

Hopefully other members will appear here soon.
