Waterfall and Filter
My wife kindly bought me a nice fibreglass waterfall which was duly installed. The hoses for the waterfall and filter were laid under the waterfall to keep them out of sight. The filter box was also moved behind the chestnut tree and the filter return pipe was also hidden under the waterfall and then runs below ground along the back edge to feed back in at the opposite side of the pond.
The goldfish that we introduced in April spawned within a month and by late summer the fry were doing very well. The lilies first flowered in August and we started to receive visiting damsel flies. We cheekily entered this very new pond in the Clubs Annual Pond Competition and came 6th (out of 6)
